Phoned after submitting application online. Met the person who contacted me at a central location and held an interview. I was asked several prepared questions where my responses were noted. I was then given a general run-down of the job and asked to identify a pump on a set plans and what parts were being shown in some photos. I was then told that they have never hired anyone from outside the company and I could understand why as they require a very specific knowledge level that would be hard to come by without firsthand knowledge of the industry. The interviewer was very fair and seemed to be well-versed in the aspects required for the job. I knew at the conclusion of the interview that I would not be getting a phone again. About a week later I received a letter thanking me for my interest and they were moving on to other candidates.
