      J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Imagine Cruising (Wootton Bassett, England) en nov. 2017

      Entretien

      30 minute chat, 10 minute "test", 10 minute chat for questions I had. Interview was with 2 people, one of which was a contractor who had joined in the last few months. They started by giving a background on the company and how it had grown from 8 people in 2011 to 260 in 2017. They explained that they are trying to in-house their front-end development. The contractor has produced one new site using the CMS they use in 4 weeks and they're looking to recruit developers to do 5-6 more sites. I was then asked a few competency based questions, and a few front end related questions by the contractor before being given their test. The test was 4 sides of A4 with around 8 questions per side, all on front-end technologies. I was told I would be left for 10 minutes to complete as many as I could. It didn't seem like 10 minutes before they came back and I'd got through around 8 questions. I felt that they were inexperienced at interviewing, or at least interviewing developers. The main interviewer was quite aggressive; the contractor seemed like a nice guy and seemed like he knew his stuff based on what he asked. I'd be concerned that once the front end team was put together that they would be leaving and the team would be managed by non-technical managers. Also, the test questions could have been done better done orally over the phone as a pre-screen to avoid wasting time for a face-to-face interview. (Or if they really wanted to get scientific, give people enough time to actually complete them and then track how well each question predicts future performance.)
