I had interviews with both assistant manager and store manager. They ouched all the bases by askingthe standard employment questions. Very open and
informative interview. Paid of training and room to grow. Learned more about the company and products.
Straight forward. Math test required for all positions. Background check for bookkeeper position. Interviewer was kind and personable. The Interview did not take very long although the process was long as I was at a job fair.
J'ai postulé via une autre source. J'ai passé un entretien chez Hobby Lobby (Harrisonburg, VA) en sept. 2015
Entretien
I responded to an ad in the paper and on facebook calling for many different positions for a store they are building inside an old Kmart, including Bookkeeper. When I arrived at the massive event at a hotel, There was a whiteboard instructing to grab an application and then head to the conference room. The future store manager was waiting just inside the conference room, took my application, ascertained that I wanted a long lasting job and not just one doing store set up, and said she would "put [me] in the second wave." She then tossed my application into a banker's box already 60% full of applications. Her desk was covered in applications. There were no business cards, and she did not give me one when I asked for one. "You can come see me at the store anytime you want," she said.
