I was contacted directly by the head of the billing department to coordinate the interview. I was advised that HR determined all final compensation decisions, and that all hospital entry level positions start at $18/hr, but with my acquired experience in conjunction to the market value of the role, I was advised to negotiate for appropriate compensation.
