The recruitment consultant contacted me via LinkedIn and asked lots of questions, including my current salary, and was more interested in getting leads at my current company. Seemed to be more about extracting as much information out of a candidate without the intention of putting them forward for a role. Recruitment consultant then said they would put me forward for the role but then ghosted me. I gave them a few weeks before posting this. This was rather surprising (or suspicious) behaviour from a recruitment company that should know better. Needless to say, I won't be using their services again.
