The process took several weeks, included requirement of preparing a presentation for second round interview (fine) but did not inform ahead of presentation that an open invitation was sent to department members to attend. More than 20 unexpected attendees for presentation. No follow up call to inform me that offer would not be issued. Rude, disorganized, and a waste of time.

There were two interviews in total. The position was filled the following month, but no communication was sent regarding the decision. Reaching out to HR did not help. It's disappointing, since George Mason seemed to be a reputable institution.
