      Entretien pour Admissions Producer

J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez General Assembly (Denver, CO)

      Entretien

The first interview was via phone with the person who would be my manager -- she was remote in California and the audio quality of the first interview was atrocious, but I enjoyed talking with her. The second interview was rushed -- I had to come directly from the airplane after a trip home to see family -- because the remote manager would be out for two weeks starting the next day. When asked about timeline of a decision, GA informed me they wanted to move sooner than later and two weeks should be the most it would take to hear back, but that my potential future manager might potentially reach out from her travels within a week. So, I confirmed that it sounded as though I should hear back from them in a minimum window of 1 week and a maximum window of 2 weeks. I followed up after 1 week, and followed-up again a week later at the 2 week and 2 day mark. I got no response. I found the professionalism of the company to be incredibly lacking and the etiquette of getting back to someone when you have rushed an interview (I informed I would just be landing before the second interview -- there is a strong probability I would have missed the interview had there been any travel delays) was simply non-existent. Had I received an offer, I would not have accepted as this interview process showed me clear and present professionalism hurdles and non-starters at this company.

Three round interview process - first with a recruiter, then a manager then multiple managers from different sales teams. First was about 15 minutes, second round was thirty minutes and last round was an hour. The process took about three weeks.

Phone Screening asking general questions, followed by another Phone interview again asking the same questions, followed by an in person interview I was told I would still need to speak to someone before a final decision was made. And I am still waiting. I even reached out myself for an update to no response. Very unprofessional in my view a simple email indicating that they passed me up or they still need time to set up the interviews not asking too much. Don’t let this company waste your time, because they definitely will.

It was lengthy, but very thorough. The project seemed unnecessary, but they made me feel very comfortable. It was a phone screen, in person, and one group interview. I would say it was pretty typical.

They asked about my experience and how I deal with difficult situations.
