The first round consisted of completing some Excel calculations (VLOOKUP and Pivot tables) and a Word report that had to be submitted by a specified date. Then, the "finalists" (six projects selected) had to take part of a very brief interview (unfortunately, too brief) in which they were asked about challenges they would have expected to face in the position, and some other situational questions. The day after, we received a call in which the team leader told us whether we had been selected or not. I really appreciated the fact that they called me personally to give the result, even though the explanations they provided were not very constructive/useful ("you all did a great job, but overall we decided to proceed with another candidate)
