Had a phone interview, was promised a second one, waited 2 months to find out there is not position available anymore. Poor or no communication from the recruiter/manager the entire time and only updated me that the job is not longer available after i reached out. Another company trying to "attract top talent" and not able to even properly communicate with candidates.

Was okay, interviewer was nice but it felt rushed and that the hiring manager didn’t quite understand the job herself. So explaining my experience was difficult and I felt like I fell flat.

There are multiple rounds of interviews. Interviewed by the people you will potentially parter with. The level of people who interview you will be higher and higher. First they will ask you to describe your role in your past job, then talk about your experience related with the job you are interviewing. With different interviewers, talk about yourself a bit and how you work with your parters in the similar roles before.
