The interview process is very long and requires a lot of travelling to the interviews, store visit and assessment centre. This is difficult especially if you have other commitments like university studies, work etc. A phone interview was first conducted and if successful, you are invited into the head office for a 1:1 interview. After successful 1:1 interview, you had to do a store visit in which you spent 3 hours observing the day to day runnings and at the end of the day, you had another 1:1 interview with the area manager. My store visit was poor as there were only 2 members of staff working in the branch and I didn't get many opportunities to ask questions as the employees were constantly on the phone. After successful interview, you had to attend an assessment centre where there were individual and group activities. The individual activities included role playing in customer facing situations and completing a pack of paper work within 30 minutes. The pack included emails, customer bookings, cars available and drivers' schedules that you had to complete. The group activity involved organising a marketing event to launch a new project and this was observed by 3 area managers. The assessment centre is poorly organised as you weren't told much information about how the day ran and you were thrown in the deep end in the role play scenarios.
