The recruiter messaged me late at night and rescheduled the interview three times. She downplayed my experience in order to drive down my salary, and all this happened at the very first stage. She also mentioned that the Operations Director, with whom most of the work would be carried out, was very domineering; and, in fact, the whole account of the processes and how interactions take place suggested that there is an unhealthy and toxic atmosphere within the company, characterised by belittlement, manipulation, pressure and overwork.
