Recruiter screen. Terrible experience. The recruiter got defensive as soon as I asked about salary and kept saying “it’s a range based on interview performance”. She refused to say the range until I told her I didn’t want to waste my time (I’m already employed) just to take a pay cut. Afterwards she just said within 10k of what I already make. Complete waste of 20 minutes and the compensation was not competitive. Rejected following day, I imagine because I asked about the salary.
