During the recruitment process there was 1 interview and 1 trial day, which I mostly spent with a hiring manager and other team members. During trial day I was solving a technical task. I find a trial day a way better approach for verifying technical skills than assigning a task to be done at home, because you get instant feedback and can ask questions in the meantime.
