The process was way too long. At first, it seemed like at least I knew what I was signing up for: a 6 step process. It ended up being a 9 (!!) step process, extra steps added right before the end. This all took more than 4 months. There was a lot of communication, but while preaching about transparency, DP is very vague about salary budgets. Salary stated in JD is misleading, it's the max you can make in the role when you're here growing - not what one could be offered when it's a good fit. Relocation package mentioned is misleading: no support for actually moving, just for a flight ticket. Upon receiving the an offer, they were "open to discussing" though weren't interested in moving at all & _after_ accepting the offer (and 2 weeks of negotiating), DP stated that they do not negotiate and that they don't like people trying. DP restated their offer & enthusiasm for having me join. Accepted tje same day, only to have DP withdraw the offer the day after. What an incredible mess & a waste of time.
