My first interview was direct with the Manager. The questions they asked were mostly behaviour based ones and a short introduction about my background. The response to this interview I had was positive. The manager contacted me saying he was going on a vacation and asked for my availability in the coming month for the next step of the interview process: a company tour.
However, a month passed and I didn't hear anything from anyone. I sent follow up emails to HR and the manager that went unanswered showing a lack of professionalism in the company.
This was not just the first bad experience I had with Dematic. I interviewed for the position of Mechanical engineer a few months before, where again my interview with managers was positive. However, after wasting 2 weeks of my time, I received a call from HR saying they cannot hire me due to the salary requirements needed for foreign employees.
When going for an interview, don't have any expectations even if the response is positive as HR is completely unreliable.
