Got called the day after applying but missed it. Took a week to get hold of the HR person to arrange an interview. Interview was on Teams, was not informed beforehand a webcam was essential (every other interview it has not been used by either party). Had to use phone with damaged camera as my webcam was on the South Island. They complained. Teams crashed. After reconnecting I couldn't hear them. They quit the interview and told me this position is not for me [my qualifications and experience would disagree]. Honestly only ever heard bad things about Datacom, from Intern level to Regional Directors. I applied against my better judgement. I won't be making that mistake again. Experience was comprehensively negative. Interviewers must understand they are being interviewed too.
