A recruiter reached out to me via Linkedin and we scheduled a phone conversation. We had a phone conversation for about 1 hour where the recruiter tried to get technical details of my experience, but it was pretty hard since the recruiter was not technical.
Next I was scheduled for a 45 minutes video call with the potential manager. This one was supposed to be a bit technical, but it wasn’t. The guy was in a rush, instead of 45 minutes, we discussed only 30 minutes and there were only several questions about my experience.
Next I had a “technical” interview with 2 guys, but it wasn’t technical at all. They, again, asked only about my previous experience, no technical questions asked.
Based on this last one, guys concluded that I am not a fit. May be I was indeed not a fit, but, from my point of view, the process I went through did not reveal any of my technical skills, just a discussion about my past experience, which could have been seen from my CV.
