The interview process seemed just seemed so odd and fishy. This experience just came across as so unprofessional.
A recruiter reached out to me, asked to schedule a meeting that day or the following. I responded within an hour and he didn't respond. He then, despite asking for a meeting, was off the following day. Who asks to schedule a meeting on a day they're not even in the office. That doesn't make any sense.
He rescheduled for the following Monday and then just did not show up to the call and only informed me of this after I was waiting on the line for several minutes. He told me has in a meeting which was running long. He then told me he'd get back to me when he got off. He didn't. The following day he called me with no notice. He then told me he would get back to me in 48 hours with the next steps to set up the next round. He didn't. I never heard from him.
The company also outsourced much of their recruiting team to India and making them work U.S. hours. That says something about their company culture.
