Phone interview followed by panel interview. The phone interview went very well and the recruiter noted my background that included a local company which Columbia did wholesale with. I was a trainer and specialist in outdoor gear and loved Columbia's line. The recruiter felt I'd be a good fit and we set an interview at HQ. I arrived early and was dressed business casual and met with a supervisor, someone in HR, and a team lead. The team lead looked me up and down...she appeared as though she just picked up her clothes off her bedroom floor, put them on and went to work. Her only question was, "Why do you think you'd fit in here?" I felt overdressed and I felt my energy and enthusiasm was a threat to her.
