From beginning to end, I felt the interview process was very non-intimidating and transparent. First, I had a phone interview with the HR recruiter. Then a Skype call with whom would be my Manager, and lastly a 1:1 with the Merchandise Managers for the two departments that had openings. All those that I had contact with were very friendly and welcoming. This is somewhere I would of definitely loved to work with the nicest and most supportive HR team members. In the end I declined the offer for personal reasons but the HR recruiter was very understanding and supportive. She was the opposite of dismissive and suggested we keep in touch for future opportunities. The best outcome I could of ever wished for.

The interviewing process in the San Francisco headquarters was one of the strangest I’ve ever had. The recruiter first set up two phone interviews for me with three different people in total, then an office interview where I met with two more different people so that was all a little overwhelming, although that may just be what works for them. One interviewer in Merchandising in particular clearly thought she was working for Vogue and was super condescending and really going out of her way to seem intimidating. I was pretty turned off of the whole experience by this point so I was a little relieved when the recruiter never followed up (even though she said she would within 2 days). Pretty hard to take them seriously since then.
