I applied online and received a call from an HR recruiter 3 weeks later. He called on a Monday afternoon and wanted to do a phone screen immediately. I didn't have time right away, but scheduled for later that evening. The recruiter said they were in a hurry and wanted to make a decision by Friday, so he scheduled a Zoom interview with the hiring manager the next morning. He said not to worry about the lengthy preparation email that would be sent, since I didn't have time to prepare. I got the information for the interview a couple hours before it was scheduled. The hiring manager was professional and asked mostly STAR type questions. The recruiter called that evening to set up the second round of Zoom interviews, which were back-to-back the next day. Those 2 individuals asked very few questions and mostly focused on answering any questions I had. They seemed not to care and were just going through the motions. I never heard back. Looking back on the whole experience and how rushed everything was, it seemed like they had already chosen a candidate but needed to make sure they had a certain number of interviews with certain types of people, and I was never being considered for the position.
