Met with the department's senior management team. Reviewed my interest in the job and was asked about why I wanted to work there. After talking with them a bit, they discovered that I was over-qualified for the position I had applied for and that I would probably enjoy being a technician. I love this job and am truly appreciative of their going the extra step to ensure that I was the right fit for the job and the job was the right fit for me.
