Standard interview procedure: 3rd party recruiter contacted me first . After the initial intro call with recruiter, got the phone interview with hiring manager; then onsite with 5-6 rounds of technical interviews

several questions from resume/prior experience; couple of open ended design questions like how to design syslogd; extension to the question is how to stream the logs out of the system; few coding questions related to bit manipulation, arrays etc..; embedded linux internals; I2C, SPI, PPP etc..,

Entretien
There are several rounds of interviews. Each round has an independent evaluation.
For me, they conducted three rounds and also said for some candidates they conducted 9 rounds of interviews.
First 1-2 rounds are relatively easy than subsequent rounds.
