I applied for an external position at another company through The Boss Group via LinkedIn. I recieved call 2 MONTHS later. For reference, thisn particular position posted on LinkedIn CLEARLY had "Relocation Bonus" in its heading. This was the primary reason I sent in my resume in the first place. The interviewer seemingly didnt even bother to look over my resume before calling. They read off a list of requirements and asked shallow questions for an intermediate role that requires a certain depth of knowledge. I was also asked to provide examples of my work to them even though I have an entire website devoted to my portfolio listed clearly and prominently on my resume that is accessible at any time from anywhere, and by anyone, online. The best part was when I casually mentioned this relocation bonus. "Relocation bonus? Hmmm oh I dont think thats part of this package, I'll have to speak with my higher ups about it." I was polite and complied with any requests, however I do not expect to receive any sort of offer nor further correspondence nor do I want to.
