I had an interview for an Admin role in 2022. I was expecting a normal admin interview with a couple of get to know me questions, why I want the role/what I can offer and maybe a couple of questions about dealing with tricky situations given the company. Instead, I was interviewed for what I genuinely believe they thought was a management position. They asked me atleast 20 scenario questions one after the other, no conversation between just "tell me how you'd..." straight onto another one... It was the most awful and uncomfortable interview I've ever had. Even if I was applying for a management position, the interview would've still been extremely uncomfortable and regardless of the outcome, I wouldn't have accepted the job. It was like being in the hot seat. Another reason why I believe I was interviewed for the wrong position is because at the end, the Senior manager (note taker during interview) asked "So, you aren't currently the manager at your job?" to which I responded, no... I'd recommend reading applicants CV before interviewing, checking said CV again and the job you're recruiting for before joining the interview.
