First I had a phone screen. Then a phone interview with the Director, which went well and I could tell that she was experienced and professional. Then I had an onsite interview with a peer in the director-level position, and the process was horrible. She was very checked-out, borderline rude and difficult to communicate with. Afterwards, communication stopped on all fronts. It's also important to note that I was informed there was an internal candidate, and right before my in-person interview, there was a lot of activity on my LinkedIn profile - five visits from lower level Capital Group training associates, and one being from the internal candidate. Unprofessional. Very poor interview process, lack of professionalism by a mid-senior interviewer. I would not accept an offer after this experience.
