Hiring manager reviews application packets and decides which applicants warrant an initial phone interview. A second interview is done in person (if first interviewer determines the applicant is a good fit for the position. The third and final interview is run more like a board, with multiple interviewers. Problem-solving tests are given further along in the interview process.

Three part interview process: phone screening, zoom exam, and panel interview. I made it through the panel and then was informed by automated message (not even from the HR person I had been corresponding with the entire time) that I was not selected. Later I learned that I was never eligible for the position anyway, as a transfer from a different CSEA branch was hired instead. Not sure why I was strung along through each step if a current employee already had the job. Insulting

30 min phone interview and the second interview was a skills test. 3rd interview was a panel. the panel consisted of an HR rep the field manager and I believe a director.
