I was contacted by a third-party recruiter and completed a detailed form of my background and past work in addition to a phone screening.
Afterward, I had 2 rounds of interviews with a person and then a second round with another person.
Around two weeks after the final round of interviews, the recruiter called and told me they hired an internal candidate. This was somewhat frustrating as it felt like I was used for a fake interview in order to justify an internal hire.

Entretien
Pretty casual and friendly. Start with a detailed introduction of this position, what does a day look like in CIBC, and what kind of people did the team need. Then the interviwer asked some behaviour questions and avalibility. Finished by asking if the candidates have some additional question. Interviewer is friendly and kind. It is an online interview.
