They asked me to do a pretty lengthy and extensive edit test that included a full mock article and multiple in-depth pitches. After asking me to do this significant amount of unpaid labor, I never heard from them again, nor did they give a contact email outside of the one linked to the application so I was unable to follow up. It's bad enough to force writers to provide you with unpaid labor when you ask for multiple writing clips. But it's pretty gross to ghost people after the fact. Stop taking advantage of writers.
