The Application process was very quick. I sent my CV, a few days after I did 2 sets of online tests. I then had a telephone interview that was very relaxed, it was mainly around my competencies and my main skills, and what makes me a suitable candidate for a junior consultant job. The day after (as I've said, the process was very quick!) I received an invitation to the initial AC, at their office in London. On the day, we had an initial interview with somebody from HR, personally I found the interview very enjoyable, it was more like a conversation to be honest. The second task on the day was a report, that we had to prepare beforehand, which lasted 45 minutes. The report was mainly about how we would expand a certain business area, given the future market trends. I found that particular task very intense, because there was a lot of info to cover in a relatively short period of time.
A few days after the half-day AC I was invited to the final one-day AC, again at their HQ in London. I felt more confident this time round, because I had the chance to talk with a few grads or current employees, and I knew more about the firm. The final AC was one of the hardest I've done, it involved a group exercise (the typical), a logical test (you can't really prepare for it, they want to test how you think and solve problems), a presentation (that I had to prepare beforehand) and 3 interviews, one based on my technical skills, one on my consulting skills, and another one was on my competencies, career choices and long-term career plans. The process was very enjoyable, I received a lot of personal support from them throughout. I found it a two-way process, it was about them getting to know me, but also about me getting to know them and how they would match my personality and career expectations.
I was offered the job 3 working days after attending the AC, which I think was great!
