Made it to a phone screen with Block via a referral from a current employee. The recruiter was very nice and went in depth on the role and the experience needed for it and what the role entailed. She was impressed with my resume and even explained the next steps and who I would be speaking to next. Everything seemed to go really well, but not even 24 hours later I got a rejection via an automated email with no explanation. Ut does seem as if they had someone in mind for the role already and I did not get my chance to even interview, despite the recruiters positivity.
