I first had a phone interview, it was short and just asked which departments your willing to work in and your availability. They then schedule you for a 2nd interview with the department manager, it was a laid back and easy interview, asking you questions about your past work experiences. Such as name a time in which youve dealt with a difficult co-worker or customer and how did you handle it? They focused alot on those types of questions. I was then passed along for a 3rd interview with the stores general manager. He asked questions like wanting to know what i did in my past jobs, what my skill set was, what i think customers expect when they walk into the store ect. He also wanted to know alot about what i expect from management.

Typically, Best Buy has three stages for their interview process, screening over the phone, in-store supervisor or manager interview, and a final interview with the general manager of the store.
Easy questions like "what would you do if a coworker was stealing from the company?". Managers were very nice and easy to talk to. Overall good experience and simple for a college student to apply.

I would say that knowing how mobile phones tie into daily life will help you frame your mind for the interview. Also good to know the different ways phone plans work.
