IDFC is a knowledge oriented company. As a whole the process was quite challenging. Apti test followed by GD with HR and Panel Interview afterwards. The panel generally consists of regional heads of certain verticals. Interview FAQs on their site did help. Knowledge of Equity and debt market is must and interview generally revolves around financial current affairs eg. RBI policy, recent fall/rise in equity market, debt market events etc.

Written test then G.D. Followed by a very short interview with the regional sales head. Later, a telephonic interview with HR for about an hour. Took a couple of weeks to declare the final results. Written test had verbal, quant and logical reasoning sections. Of average difficulty. G.D. Had a group of 12 people. Interview with regional was quick and stuck to questions like why this job (sales).
