Y'all want to hear about the time I got rejected to a job that I never applied for? Of course, you do. At the time I was looking for a job on BL's website, nothing matched my experience. Therefore, I tossed my resume into the black hole that is "general candidacy." To my surprise, BL contacted me about a month and a half later with a job opening that might fit my experience. I scheduled a phone screening but had to cancel due to a last minute meeting at my previous place of work. They totally understood and said they'd get back to me with available times to only send me a form denial e-mail a couple days later. I was surprised I wasn't given a chance and so much for proper HR business acumen....
