The entire process was weird. The recruiter contacted me 4 times. We spoke at length each time. He did not present my resume after the first time talking and did not realize this. He did not follow up after the third talk, for an hour, after which he asked me to divert my trip out of town to potentially go to an interview and yet did not follow up. He did, however, call me again on the day I would have had said interview, to ask if I was still interested... At a lower salary, because he knew I wanted to live in that area then I would take a lower salary, and if I would be in Tennessee anytime soon so I could pay my own way for interview. As I was already almost home from my original trip in which I was to possibly slide by on my way home, that was off the table. He did not recall speaking and not following up with me. I honestly think he had to have been impaired.
