Practical Interview Questions preceded an in person interview. The questions were similar to a simple homework assignment. Interview lasted a few hours and focused on many topics such as coursework, experience. I was told the company could not pay competitively compared to larger firms, but a number was not mentioned. Apex cited reduced hiring numbers due to economic conditions and uncertainty when they turned me down. They did, at the time, have more engineers than workstations in KC.
