I began by speaking with their recruiter Dane who was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire application process. The first step was taking a Multiple Choice quiz on various CS topics and light coding questions. Next was a ~ 1 hr technical coding challenge with two engineers which was a slight twist on a well known problem and included a couple parts of increasing difficulty. I believe this step on the interview process can be done remotely however I was invited to do this on site as a local candidate. After hearing back quickly the results of that coding challenge I was invited to come back on site two days later for a full-day on site. The on site included a long coding challenge that built off the previous challenge and required me to use an unfamiliar framework to mimic an existing implementation. It was broken up into three 1 hour parts with different engineers(two before lunch and one after). While the problem was interesting and well designed, it was a bit challenging to try and pick up and use a new framework under the pressure while still trying to write clean code and explain my thought process. There were then two 1 hour white boarding sessions that covered system design / databases and algorithm/data structures without requiring the candidate to write actual code. Lastly, I had a chance to speak with a senior engineer and go out to dinner with a few engineers. I heard back quickly from the on site and although I didn't receive an offer I was happy with the manner in which the interview process was structured and how I was treated throughout the application process

Was reached via LinkedIn to apply for a full stack software engineer. Recruiter set up a phone call to discuss the role/company. Phone call was about 20 mins long. Where she discussed the engineering teams/current goals. She asked if I have any questions for her. What my strong point is as a developer and if I am open to relocating to San Francisco. Conversation was easy then she said she would share my profile/her notes with the manager and contact me early next week for the next interview/coding challenge.
