I applied for quant research but was assigned to machine learning role. 1st round is three python coding questions on Hackerrank. I got #5. Then a phone interview with researcher. We talked about alpha generating and trading risk management. Everything went very well then after one day they emailed and rejected me for no reason. This is ridiculous.
