They weren’t professional and said that there’s no point in doing the interview since it was a hybrid position although recruiter said it was 100% remote. It was a waste of time and very rude of them

A recruiter contacted me to say that my resume was a good fit for a software engineer position they were filling. We scheduled a call. During that call, the recruiter spent the entire time telling me that I didn't have the right qualifications and that I have been unemployed for an unusually long amount of time.
When I pointed out that there has been widespread unemployment among software engineers since 2023 because of big tech layoffs, the recruiter told me that wasn't true and said I would have a hard time getting a job anywhere.
I'm at a loss to explain this horrible behavior. Avoid this company at all costs.
Sono stato contattato su LinkedIn per la posizione di Software Developer. Ho fatto un colloquio con una persona delle risorse umane. Non ha specificato l'azienda per cui avrei lavorato ma solo l'ambito.
Conversazione con un recruiter o HR su esperienze, aspettative, disponibilità e adattamento culturale. Poi colloquio tecnico a seconda del progetto che andrai a svolgere. Il colloquio tecnico è focalizzato sulle competenze legate al ruolo (software, strumenti, progetti), con domande pratiche e legate alla tua esperienza .
