Job Description:
As a Multiphysics Simulation Engineer, you will be responsible for performing complex numerical simulations integrating multiple physical phenomena (thermal, structural, fluid dynamics, electromagnetics, etc.). You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and validate high-fidelity models for industrial applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement multiphysics simulation models for various industrial applications.
Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations.
Analyze thermal, structural, and fluid interactions within complex systems.
Optimize designs based on simulation results to improve performance and reliability.
Validate numerical models through experimental data correlation.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Support R&D initiatives by providing technical expertise in numerical modeling.
Prepare technical documentation and reports for internal and client use.
Required Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in multiphysics numerical simulations.
Strong knowledge of FEA and CFD methodologies.
Proficiency with simulation tools such as ANSYS, COMSOL, Abaqus, LS-DYNA, or similar.
Experience in scripting (Python, MATLAB) for automation and post-processing.
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary and international environment.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Fluent in English; French or Dutch is a plus.
