Avantages
They allow you to work from home about twice a week. There is a solid bonus structure (twice yearly bonuses) Good pay. A good place to be for a few years, but don't plan on making a career here if you want to grow your skill set or make a real difference.
Inconvénients
Extremely difficult to get promoted. Ongoing restructuring creates tensions/problems. Your Manager and your team will be very helpful but the rest of the company will tell you they know what you do but demonstrate that they do not. Many will be annoyed when you do your job and see no value in it or your existence. Because of this, it's very difficult to create something helpful for users, which is, at the end of the day, what I care about most. They will not pay for you to get training or to go to conferences. The work is the work. After you learn it, you won't be tackling anything new or different so it will be difficult to grow your skill set.
