Avantages
Wiseman + Rohy is a great company to learn and grow at. Because it is a smaller group of engineers, everyone has the opportunity to work on a varied set of projects both in terms of building material (steel, concrete, wood, CMU, light gauge), and in terms of building type (schools, commercial, theaters, hospitals, etc.). There is a sense that everyone is there to share knowledge with each other, since that's the way the entire company strengthens and grows. Also, as you progress in your engineering and project management skills, there is good opportunity to advance in the company. As long as you work hard, you will generally feel like you are moving forward, with larger projects, more responsibility, and promotions.
Inconvénients
The work shares some downsides that are found across the industry: sometimes unrealistic expectations from architects or owners, last-minute changes/revisions, or tight deadlines. However, if one person gets overloaded, management does do their best to reassign or share portions of projects to alleviate stress as much as possible.
