Avantages

The Goodies & the high standard tools used. Another pro would be the exposure to a LOT of projects.

Inconvénients

Joined the company with an expectation to reach good heights and to get great exposure in the industry. Initially, the culture seemed great with a lot of employee-friendly sessions, a neat working process, happiness meetings, there was a lot of care "shown" for the staff, it seemed a good culture. Later on, things started to change. All departments were assigned with new leads that manipulated the management that ‘oppressing and squeezing employees on work’ will profit the company and bring in more projects. Yes, definitely that helped the company gain profit but drained the teams like sugarcane juiced more and more until it’s useless bagasse. We got in more projects that were not manageable by the employees and the management started to pressure the teams for more late nights and unpaid weekend inputs. Apparently, they say that since they don't take away money from employees for the days that they don't have much work, it’s ethical to make the teams work late nights and on weekends without comp-offs or extra compensations. So I assume 99% of the other companies in the industry are unethical in providing comp-off and bonuses for their employees for the extra effort? LOL. Let me tell you a story: It’s a typical IT weekday. An employee works from 9am to 6pm, or maybe 8pm and they spend time with family, friends, do some workouts and have a balanced life. But in WRG, it’s a different typical day. An employee works 9am to 10pm or even 12am (obviously! considering all projects are ‘high priority and need to be pushed live immediately the same day, else the client would bomb the company) so an employee definitely needs to put in more hours continuously for some months or years so that the company would “grow”. But yeah the highlight is, the employee may not be able to rest enough cos on some days, you have something called “emergency” "code red" situations where you need to be available anytime around 12pm to 6am since it’s a US-based company and some clients need “care”. So in addition to the 15 hours of work, sleep is never considered important (Considering we are WRG robots who don’t require sleep ;) ). You are called up in the middle of the night and asked to work on a silly issue that could have been easily pushed on to the next day. But at WRG its client-first company, so an employee’s basic need like sleep and rest is taken for granted. So if you love working like this, get your bags ready! Oh, I forgot, WRG provides all those bags and goodies and high-end machines so that you could never complain about employee satisfaction. It’s all about those goodies and not about appreciation and respect towards an employee, right? Yes, I agree that there are very few humans in the world who have no family life nor social life, that they are happy with spending 24/7 for a company that “favour” them. I wouldn't use the word "spending", I would say "slavering for a company" in my terms. But that's not me. I need to give my family, my social and my personal life an equal balance along with work and I feel each employee in an organisation should have the same rights. A company would "grow" only when they take care of the well-being of their employees and consider them as humans (I don’t even want to use the term "family" at this moment) and not a company's slave just because they pay you. After seeing "Best company" "Amazing company" reviews recently as a tally war against the voices raised recently, I felt I need to shed some light as well. It's not tough for the management to put in positive reviews by bribing their puppets. Also to defend the negative reviews by replying “We terminated you based on so and so” to save their faces. Needless to say that the working culture has drastically changed over here, which is conveyed by a few employees already, now the fabricated fake positive comments have been initiated by the management so that the company doesn’t seem dim in the light. I rather say it’s always good to scan around all the reviews before you make a decision on what's genuine. Another piece of advice would be to have a background check with the existing employees or even the former ones to get input on what's happening now way before considering the organisation.

Avantages

On the positive side, employees gain a broad skill set by taking on many roles, but this comes at the cost of a healthy work environment.

Inconvénients

White Rabbit Group fosters a toxic work environment where leadership heavily micromanages and dismisses employee feedback. They prioritize client needs over employee concerns, creating an imbalance in work-life dynamics. While the company claims to value culture, perks like occasional retreats and holiday gifts don't address employee well-being. Opportunities for growth are limited due to repetitive tasks, and the CEO's behavior often feels manipulative. The absence of an HR presence in the U.S. leaves employees without support in navigating the toxic atmosphere.

It’s so disheartening to read this review posted on a public website like Glassdoor, especially knowing that nearly everyone who works here understands how much we care about our entire team. As a company, we value authenticity, open communication, a strong belief in taking ownership of your own work-life balance, and the complete opposite of micromanagement. If you ask anyone on our leadership team, they’ll tell you that two of their favorite things about working here are the people and the freedom/autonomy they have. We (myself included) will be the first to admit that we’re not perfect, but giving us a 1/5 feels like pure spite rather than an accurate reflection of what it’s like to work here. I know for a fact that not a single current employee in the Americas (USA/Colombia) would agree with or write a 1/5 review like this. Since you are a possible former employee, it’s clear you’ve been hurt, and it truly hurts me to know that. As mentioned above, our culture is the opposite of micromanagement or dismissing employee feedback. That said, just because we receive feedback doesn’t mean we should implement all of it. Every decision we make is carefully considered based on how it will impact our culture, the company’s vision, the quality of our services, etc. No company or manager should implement every piece of advice they receive. That’s just bad management and I’ll say it publicly: implementing all feedback is something we’ll never do but listening/reviewing all feedback is. It’s true that we don’t have an HR manager in the US, but that doesn’t mean we lack HR support. We have a strong, well-trained management team and established processes that handle all our HR needs. Were you the best fit for White Rabbit Group? No—and that’s okay. I don’t believe there’s a single company culture on this planet that fits everyone. Many people love working here because their values align with ours and we will continue to hire against that. I wish you nothing but the best and hope you find a company culture and role that’s the right fit for you. Truly, that’s all I want for everyone, whether that is here at White Rabbit Group or somewhere else. We’re also grateful to review this feedback and see what we can do better at from your viewpoint.
