Avantages

TransPerfect offers an environment that provides its employees with great earning potential, amazing services and solutions to offer, travel opportunities, and is overall a great place for personal and professional growth. They are innovative, entrepreneurial, secure and growing, fun, energetic and very much dedicated to providing best in class client service and technology. I worked there for 6+ years and attribute a lot of my own growth to them as I learned a tremendous amount about the industry and business operations in general across a variety of different sectors. I would highly recommend TransPerfect as a place of employment as well as a supplier for language related requirements and translation management technology.

Inconvénients

Any organization that grows quickly will have operational challenges and sometimes things would move slowly because of the amount of work everyone had on their plates. In my last two years there was a serious push to put in place various controls to ensure they became more efficient across several different functions. Another con in my opinion is that they hire too young and inexperienced and they should increase their recruitment of experienced and well seasoned business professionals.

Avantages

Provides strong opportunities for travel, especially around conferences. The company makes a strong effort to onboard and support new employees and clients. There are many great colleagues to connect with and learn from.

Inconvénients

My experience was that leadership lacked clear direction and timely decision-making. The culture felt transactional, with employee retention and development taking a back seat to short-term financial performance.
