Perspective commerciale
Avantages
Great work life balance - not expected to sit late hours. Not bureaucratic, no red tape. People generally very friendly, family environment. Firm provides a lot of benefits, full medical coverage etc. Was very diverse, hired from the top banks and asset managers. In general a great brand name for the resume.
Inconvénients
More politics than I expected. Salaries were lower than the rest of the hedge fund industry. Too large for the market size of the firm. When things got bad, it was clear the firm would not be able to support such a large size.
