Avantages
When the company came to Wisconsin I was excited. I already had a full time job but wanted something a little extra. I interviewd and got hired. I was impressed with all the other stores who came and trained us as we were the class to open this new store. We learned so much from them. There was a mindset that we were all equal and we work together.
Inconvénients
That mindset changed after our trainers were gone. When we opened we worked alot of hours. 30 to 32 as a part time. I was okay but it was a bit much. I loved the customers and helping them find solutions for there home. I loved designing, merchandising and most of all loved my co workers. The management however just worse and over there head. After a few months of being open the hours went from 30 to 20 to 10 to like none for some weeks. Moral went really low in this store. We would ask for more hours and ignored. We were told we could not swap shifts to get more hours. We were told that we could not update our schedule even if we had school or work. It finally took a schedule of only have 1 HR of work to say that's it. I loved this store and most of all I move my job. It sucked that they really just don't care about the good people they have or had.
