Avantages
Good benefits and some awesome people.
Inconvénients
The C-Suite and upper management are incredibly toxic. There are weekly financial meetings that usually result in yelling matches between the CFO and Project Managers. What’s worse is the employees look forward to the spectacle. They yell at, degrade and disrespect landowners and subcontractors during weekly meetings. I felt ashamed of the way my team treated stakeholders. They foster an extremely competitive, cliquey, disrespectful and toxic culture which is rewarded by leadership. Favoritism from leadership is nauseating. When they don’t meet Brookfield’s quota, they lay multiple people off, right before bonus time, to save one man in the C-Suite. They hire very young adults so they can burn them out until they quit or turn into vultures. The CEO literally said told people to leave if they aren’t happy about very low salaries compared to industry standards during a Town Hall. They have very old and ineffective resources and processes. If you are considering accepting an offer, don’t. There are much better solar companies and solar is booming. Accept an offer from LITERALLY anywhere else.
