Avantages
Springboard's mission is compelling, and they know how to attract really great talent. I believe that they have a great product that greatly benefits the communities that they work with. The salaries are quite competitive for a non-profit organization and can give people the ability to get ahead a little. The people at Springboard genuinely care about the mission and are actively trying their best to push the mission forward.
Inconvénients
There is very high leadership turnover. In my time there, I've had multiple managers which meant that with each new manager we've been pulled in a different direction. Employees here are often treated like products that are supposed to perform rather than people. There is no move to actually coach, train, and support you in the work unitl it's too late. If you are not a top performer at this company, you are essentially a pariah. In my time there they have taken on more of a cut-throat corporate environment without any of the supports that corporations provide you. Employee morale has been low for months, and they haven't tried to take steps to improve it.
