      Avantages

      As an engineer turned consultant, this has been the best of both worlds. I get to learn great consulting skills on the job while having the opportunities to flex my engineering muscles from time to time. I get to do a lot with infrastructure as code and programming (primarily Python). The best thing about ScaleSec is being able to work with a great group of people. If you communicate to management, they will put you on projects that expand your breath of consulting skills. They listen and provide feedback. They are transparent when it comes to sales pipeline, business goals, and so on. Pay and benefits are great too!

      Inconvénients

      As this is a completely remote workplace, strong time management skills are necessary for this job. Also (and I don't believe this to be unique to ScaleSec), clients needs can be ambiguous at times.

      Bringing over a highly technical engineer or developer and enabling their growth in the consulting space is key to being an awesome consultancy. Conversely, bringing in a seasoned, semi-technical consultant who wants to roll up sleeves and get to coding, well, theres room for them here too. We all learn from each other every day, and it is pleasure to lead a consultancy that has that latitude. Thank you for being on this journey with us.

      Avantages

      The culture, the workload was manageable and just an overall great experience. Definitely opened doors for me by having the opportunity to develop in my role.

      Inconvénients

      Unable to continue to work for the company.
