Avantages
There are some really lovely people to work with. Able to schedule medical appointments during work hours. Staff lunch every month - free food and a longer lunch break. Good first office job if you’re willing to get paid minimal legal wage.
Inconvénients
The work culture is extremely toxic. There is no communication between departments. The management lacks any qualifications, training or people skills and are openly treating employees differently based on personal preferences. Unfortunately, the management also lacks disability and mental health awareness and ableist comments are often made. There is no reward or recognition available for anyone working below Project Coordinator level so the only reward for doing your job well is a larger workload. The pay is very poor and below average. No benefits. Flexible working is only available at certain positions and is actively discouraged. No progress opportunities as internal promotions are rare. I would not recommend working at Stem Learning to anyone. There are better companies out there.
